The textile colors and patterns also changed over the years. Mainly the tailors and dressmakers are responsible for innovation in changes. They address the demand of the people. There are certain types of dresses which are used by men and some are specifically meant for women. However, the idea of the unisex dresses originated from 1960’s which are meant for both males and females. The stretch jersey tunics or leggings, jackets, duffel coats are meant for both men and women.
In the modern age, the people have a number of choices available for selection of the clothes. The kind of the dress worn by the person reflects his or her personality and interests. The dress worn by the high-status people in the society is normally followed by the other people from other social status and becomes fashion.
